Red Pepper and Feta Spread, also known as Tirosalata, is made with sweet florina peppers from northern Greece. These peppers are roasted; onions are sauteed onions, sheep's and goat's milk feta and Mizithra are added, plus some extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, herbs and spices.
This spread can be served at any party with toasts, crackers, or crusty rustic bread. It is also an excellent spread in grilled panini and a grilled cheese sandwiches.
